Happy Birthday Tanner!

Today is Tanner's birthday! It is hard to believe that a whole year has gone by. Tanner you are a sweet, sweet boy. We are so happy you are part of the family. We are excited to see what this next year will bring for you. We love you buddy!

Tanner's Baby Dedication

This past Sunday we had Tanner's Baby Dedication. The big boys were very excited to go up on stage at church and be a part of big church. It felt so good to be part of a smaller church where we know the pastors and there are lots of people in support of our family. Both my parents and Jeff's parents were able to be there. It was a very special day.

Birthdays, standing, brothers, and Star Students

February has been a great month. Just a few things that have happened are Griffin had a great 4th birthday. We had a few friends over to celebrate. We played some games, ate the coolest Lightning McQueen cake (made by a friend), and opened presents. Griffin also had a Bike-a-thon at school. Tanner has just recently pulled himself up. Wow that seemed really quick. Cadyn was just named Student of the Month. We are so proud of how hard he has worked this year. Finally there are some fun picture of the big guys with Tanner. They really love him and are great Big brothers.

Snow!

We went up to our friends the Zeek's house to play in the snow. It was a great day.

Christmas!!

Griffin was an angel for his preschool performance. He was so cute with his white choir robe.

We have been busy in December!

Cadyn turned 6 on December 4th. We had a Lego party with the boys from his class. Everyone built a Lego car and raced it on a track in the backyard. Thanks Grandpa Grable for letting us borrow the Awana track. The boys had a great time. We now have more Lego than we know what to do with.


Tanner is growing lots and starting to move around. He is scooting around on his tummy. He just got his first tooth today. We have been trying rice cereal and he is not so sure he likes it.

The boys are very excited for Christmas. We have had lots of talks about Baby Jesus and Santa Clause. Just how does Santa get back up the chimney. Cadyn and Griffin hung all the ornaments on the tree in just the right places. Some were a little close together by Martha Stewart's standards but we think they look great. Cadyn had the chance to sing in the kids choir for the musical Arch the Angel at church. He did a great job at all 3 performances. Christmas really is a whole new experience through the eyes of a 6 and 3 year old. Last night we put up Christmas lights in their room. We told them if they got off their bed the lights would be turned off. It was the quickest bedtime in a long time. We hope you are enjoying the Christmas season too.

Silly Boys

I've been tagged!!

My friend Lindsay tagged me awhile back to write 6 random things about myself. Sorry it has taken me so long. Well here it goes.
1. I love, love, love, Dr Pepper. My life long dream would be to have a tap of it in my house. It is my only vice in life. I would drink it as my only drink if I didn't now know that it has 40 grams of sugar a can. My other little problem is that my kids are starting to notice that I want them to drink water while I drink Dr. Pepper. Griffin asked me the other day if Dr Pepper was good for kids. I didn't know what to say.
2. Most nights when I go to bed I say "I just love beds and pillows." Since having kids I now sleep with a body pillow. I love pillows and comfy beds.
3. I like to sweep the floor but I don't like to sweep it up in the dust pan. I can never sweep up all the dirt so I don't even try. I usually leave a pile of dirt and ask Jeff to sweep it up for me.
4.When I go through a drive thru and pay the teenager at In-n-out and he gives me my change it creeps me out to to have him touch my hand. I'm not sure why I am not a germ freak. It just grosses me out.
5. One of my favorite movies is "Save the Last Dance". I love the soundtrack which is full of hip-hop. When I am in the car by myself I love to turn up the music and dance in my seat. In my head I could dance it up in the club in the movie.
6. I love reality TV. That is about the only thing I watch. Biggest Loser, Survivor, and American Idol are my favorite.

Tanner is getting big!!

Tanner is now 4 months old. He is so sweet and easy going. It is a good thing because he has to keep up with his big brothers. He is rolling all over and sleeping lots at night.

Griffin's Big First Day of Preschool

Griffin is going to school Tuesday and Thursday. He was very excited and had a great first day. I was able to be at home with Tanner. He slept for 2 hours and I got lots done at home.
